Welcome to the Lanes Vet Group

Lanes was formed in July 2007 by a merger of two, well established, mixed practices which were both based in Garstang. The result today is a modern 16 Vet Practice with a total staff of 52 including nurses, nurse auxiliaries, receptionists and practice managers. We cover all aspects of veterinary work including companion animals, farm animals, poultry, horses, public health and export.

Our main site at Garstang is a new purpose built premises designed by ourselves and built to the standards which the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons requires of Veterinary Hospitals.

We have satellite practices at Caton Road, Lancaster and Bracewell Avenue, Poulton-le-Fylde giving us excellent coverage of the Garstang, Bowland, Lancaster, North Fylde, Blackpool and North Preston areas. Please click HERE for a map of all our practices.

We are a big enough practice to be able to provide a wide range of services and expertise including 24 hour cover, cardiology, dermatology, opthalmology and acupuncture. At each site of the Practice you will find a small and dedicated team serving your particular needs and a friendly environment to care for your pet.

All our sites are now accredited under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Accreditation Scheme.
