Qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from Liverpool University in 1983 and joined the Garstang branch in 1991. I have been a partner in this business since 1992.
Special interests:
After doing both large and small animal work for many years, I now specialise in small animals since having my children.
Family:
Married to Mike, a large animal vet and another partner in the practice. We have four sons. 
Hobbies/Pets:
We have two dogs, 3 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 2 chinchilla's a few hens and tropical fish. I enjoy walking, climbing, cycling and skiing, but have  little time for any of these as I spend most of my spare time as a taxi  service for our sons or watching them play sport.

I qualified from Cambridge University in 1985 and moved to a job in Lancashire 12 months later. I met and married a farmer and now cannot escape!
Hobbies and Pets:
At home we have 200 breeding sheep, 150 pigs, some beef store cattle, 2 pet goats, 3 dogs, 3 cats, a very old rabbit, and one enormous aged goldfish. We also run a farm shop.
I moved to work at (Dimples) Lane in 1995, becoming part of Lanes Vets in 2007. My work here is mainly with small animals, as a change from what I do at home.
Away from work I enjoy fell walking and being outdoors. I have been known to run the occasional marathon and already have a place to run London in 2010. I am also an ardent Derby County supporter!!

I do 50% large animal work and 50% small animal work, and enjoy all aspects.
