Radio Wave - setting up to do the live link and broadcast from the practice to the studio.
We also had a flutter machine which the children could go in and catch a piece of paper with various prizes on.

The Milbemax Pooch Mobile
Joanne, our rep from Milbemax, attended the event and handed out goody bags on the day.
Thanks for your support on the day and generous sponsorship which helped to pay to have Radio Wave with us.

Cat Rescue Blackpool - one of the two charities we were supporting with this event.

Practice garden where there were a number of stands including food/drinks and a cake stall/Bric a Brac stall run by Mrs Marr and her ladies - thanks for your hard work and support. We also had Pilling Potatoes Bouncy Castle, Sumo wrestling and Happy Chicks.
Thanks again to all of you for coming and supporting our event.

Bouncy castle - the children had great fun on this over the course of the day.

Sumo Wrestling for the children - the boys all had a great time.

Planet Kakos mascot came and supported us during the day.
The children loved him. Thanks for coming.

Happy Chicks came with their products and gave out useful information on how to
keep your chickens. Thanks for your support.

Our reception and all areas inside the practice were very busy as usual with visitors to our Open Day which is always well supported and we always appreciate the support of our clients who bring along their family and friends which helps to make this day such a success. We always raise an amazing amount of money for the animal charities who are extremely grateful to the boost to their funds.

From left to right:-
Danny Callery is the partner who runs the Poulton surgery and one of the veterinary surgeons many of our clients meet when visiting with their pet. Hayley is the presenter from Radio Wave. Janet Dell, Branch Manager and burger cook for the day. Shelley Edge is the event co-ordinator and liases with Janet who helps with the general organization and funding of the day.

Alan Pearson another of the partners who visited the burger/refreshment stand on the day (and we managed to get a picture of) to support the event - the partners that came and we missed we will get next year
We would like to thank the following drug companies and also local businesses that supported our Open Day and even the weather supported us this year as it was a glorious sunny day. This event wouldn’t be such a success without your support or raise the funds we do for the various local animal charities. This year we raised a grand total of £1200. This is a fabulous sum of money and we thank all of you who supported us especially when the economy is not at its best. But we know that everyone dug deep and both these charities: Easterliegh Animal Sanctuary and Cat Rescue, both in the Blackpool area, received a cheque for £600 each which will help to feed and support animals in their care through the kindness of Poulton staff, clients, their friends and family. Well done to all.
