Have you ever noticed that your dog is losing fur

Have you ever noticed that your dog is losing fur in specific places, like the trunk, back of rear limbs or tail? ðŸ˜¨
There are many health conditions that lead to hair loss in dogs, and one of them is hypothyroidism.
Hypothyroidism is a hormonal problem caused by a disorder in the thyroid gland.
Middle-aged dogs of medium and large breeds are more predisposed to this disease, but it can happen to dogs of any breed.
The hormones produced by the thyroid gland control many bodily functions. This means that when the thyroid stops producing them, there can be signs of hair loss, dry skin and coat, increased chance of skin infections, weight gain, lethargy, increased thirst and increased urination.
If untreated, hypothyroidism will lead to progressive worsening of these signs and can cause severe complications.

He is very brave and excited when he comes to visit us ðŸ¥°! He has also had some good news , he was seen this week by one of our vets , Andrea and his left ear looks perfect!

Unfortunately, this sometimes can become a behavioural issue called separation anxiety which might show up as:

ðŸ‘‰ Depression or loss of house-training.
Separation anxiety commonly affects dogs but can also affect cats, birds and more exotic animals such as marmosets.

FLUTD is not a single condition, itâ€™s actually a term to describe several types of problems that affect the bladder and urethra of our feline friends. These problems can range from a simple urinary infection to life-threatening problems (such as urethral obstructions) and can be recurrent.
Here are some ways to help:

ðŸ¥Ž Increase their activity levels by playing with them
ðŸ Improve their home environment with toys and other fun things
